Evangelio: Lucas 9,46-50<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

En aquel tiempo, Jesús, al ver llegar a Natanael, dijo: «Este es un verdadero israelita, un hombre sin doblez». «¿De dónde me conoces?», le preguntó Natanael. Jesús le respondió: «Yo te vi antes que Felipe te llamara, cuando estabas debajo de la higuera». Natanael le respondió: «Maestro, tú eres el Hijo de Dios, tú eres el Rey de Israel». Jesús continuó: «Porque te dije: “Te vi debajo de la higuera”, crees. Verás cosas más grandes todavía».  Y agregó: «Les aseguro que verán el cielo abierto, y a los ángeles de Dios subir y bajar sobre el Hijo del hombre». <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ORATIO<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Oh Padre, tú que eliges a los pequeños y a los pobres, tú que les revelas a ellos los misterios de tu Reino, ayúdame a caminar por los caminos de la humildad y de la sencillez. Quiero imitar a tu hijo, Jesús, «dócil y humilde de corazón», y hacerme como él «siervo» de mis hermanos y hermanas. Sé que mi «hombre viejo» intenta impedir que me rinda a tu amor, alimentando en mí el orgullo, la presunción y la ingratitud. Sé también, no obstante, que a ti nada te es imposible y que con tu Espíritu puedes renovarme, realizando en mí las maravillas de las que sólo tú eres capaz.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Crea, pues, en mí, oh Padre celestial, un corazón dócil, alejado de triunfalismos, colmado de gratitud por el inmerecido amor con el que has revestido mi vida, un corazón ajeno a las envidias y a las rivalidades, pero capaz de gozar sinceramente con cada semilla de bien que has sembrado en el mundo.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
